Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Vision do not destroy people, but ambitions does. Inordinate ambition coupled with evil involvement have soiled so many leaders’ character. In the course of pursuing change, people have sought power from the dark world and gone deep down into abyss. Job 1:8 reports Job as unequaled one among his kind. He was a unique and distinct man. It was not Job ambition to be the wealthiest but to please God and do His will. He knew quite well that loosing friends that will contaminate his character is inevitable if he must remain faithful to God. Job saw challenges as a call to rededication and integrity based living. Your present condition that you have described as toxic and unbearable wouldn’t need you to forget God and have your character soiled, please take a qeu from Job. As a community leader of repute and a wealthy man, bearing the shame of the present setback for the joy of future glory made Job to tell his wife not to push him further away from God. Reputation you are having currently may be doctored on your behalf as a result of your status, but your character will remain with you. Leadership has to do with display and giving of what one has, give your generation a lasting positive legacy from your well of good character. You will not fail God and your generation. Good evening.
