Now Samson went to Gaza and saw a harlot there, and went in to her.
Men of purpose have been submerged as a result of passion misdirected and many are still going down as a result of mistakes of others they have refused to learn from. Untamed passion can simply be likened to a motor vehicle driver that specialises in driving against the traffic rules and regulations. A day would come that his mastery of doing the right thing in a wrong way would fail him. Yes, that is always the excuse, “is it not the right thing to do?” Passion that is not tamed is on a mission to strangulate divine vision of ones life. There is always a divine vision for every life.
Bro Samson kept seeing beautiful ladies in different shapes and sizes everywhere he went. He kept on saying that he was only appreciating God’s creations. Have you been giving excuses for your philandering, night crawling, immersion in the new waves of entertainment (orgy), deceitful jokes and many more? Excuses will never advocate on your behalf on the day of nemesis, let alone you having the gumption to make reference to it.
If your passion is drifting you off your divine purpose or your passion is redefining your way of going about the fulfilment of your divine vision, you had better watch it. Tame your passion so that you will not be on a mission impossible. Samson vision became blurred the moment he stopped seeing opportunities to bring God’s name to be highly praised. Every human being is endowed with nature’s desire to fulfill carnal passion, but God’s grace is sufficient for all to tame it. Joseph was a perfect example of natural desire tamed Gen 39:8. Review how you have been in different mess and tell yourself the honest truth about your passion’s contribution. Good morning and have a wonderful day.
