Numbers 13:33
There we saw the giants, and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.

I have heard it many times that ones confession automatically becomes his possession and I have no reason to dispute the saying. It is biblical and nature’s way of making things that were not to be. There’s nothing like casual words, for every word carries its own power. Those that were sent to spy the land saw themselves first as grasshoppers before their enemies concluded that they were one and so be it. Nature’s way of auto-suggestion had notified the enemies of what those God had empowered reduced themselves to.

God did meted out punishment to the evil reporters. God made them to become what they wanted to be, grasshoppers that had no place in seeing the promised land, let alone entering it. Their report made the congregation of Israel to rebel and cast aspersions on the name of the Lord. They were moved by what they saw, heard and not what the Lord said to them. Do you believe what the Lord is saying concerning your country, family, business, marriage, children and life generally? It high time you do away with doubts and stop moving people against God with your reports.

Your mission should not be done with as a result of mere evil reports by a group of people that have given up on God. God will never give up on anyone. David only had a sling, stones and the Word, while Goliath had a well fortified arsenal and war pharaphenilia of different makeup, yet David prevailed because he did not doubt God. His confession became his possession. I confess concerning Nigerians and Africans today, your joy shall overflow like a river in Jesus name. Good day.
