When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition for a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
Good morning and welcome to another wonderful day. Many a times we perceive Jesus to be distant to us in unwholesome situations we find ourselves but that is not the case. Jesus is concerned because He loves us and He was once in a situation whereby everything around Him seemed turned against Him.
The man at the pool of Bethesda was spotted with Jesus merciful eye, even though the man did not bother about Jesus interest in his critical and pitiable condition. He preffered complaining to beckoning on Jesus for help. Vs 7 recorded it that he went complaining again when Jesus gave him a cheque. Is that not what many of us are? Jesus is concerned about your state, but waiting for you to tell Him just your need and adressing it is His.
In John 2:4 when His hour had not come to manifest, Jesus did not because of that decide against performing wonder. Jesus went ahead to make good wine available for the feast. The only thing Mary did was to tell Jesus the need at that moment and onwardly Jesus addressed the situation. It is high time you tell your needs to Jesus and you will marvel seeing those things falling into places.
Prayer: Jesus! Visit my life and let your goodness and mercy be my eternal companion in Jesus name.
