Acts 8:30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? 8:31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.
Good morning people of God. In our relationship with God there has been many questions that popped up that we assume several answers to them. In the Bible text we are considering this morning, the man of Ethiopia was found struggling with grasp of who God was and is. He was not pretentious about revealing his inadequacies to the vessel the Lord had prepared for him. Christianity without Bible study leaves one vulnerable to asking questions in rhetorics.
An example of how we can sublime all our frequently asked questions is when we submit our ignorance for knowledge. Ignorance cost one more than one can bargain for. Jesus Christ will not be too happy with you if you choose ignorance in place of knowledge.
A knowledgeable person about the Word of God is that person that the devil will be careful in dealing with. When devil tempted Jesus in the wilderness, He used the Word to counter the devil. Although, Jesus dwelt amongst humans in flesh form, yet He’s the Word of God. The knock out given to the devil in the wilderness was made possible by the knowledge of the Word of God Matthew 4:4,7&10.
Do away with ignorance by demystifying your frequently asked questions through indepth Bible study and it shall nourish your being.
