Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
God is fearful in His ways but ones fearfulness is expected to be borne out of reference to Him and not for someone to be fidgeting before relating with God. God showed up to Abraham the father of faith in a vision, but despite Abraham’s depth of faith God still charged him in the vision not to be afraid.
I am coming to you with the same message that you should fear not. When you are full of fear towards a person or situation, the tendency of loosing your ground is very high. Fear will not help relationship but strain it. God wanted Abraham to be at ease in His presence and that’s exactly what happened when he jettisoned fear.
Your Father is Loving, caring and wonderful hence the need to approach Him with an open mind. Relate with God in like manner that Abraham did after God charged him to fear not and the everlasting covenant of success shall be yours in Jesus’ name.
