From Humble Beginning

Bible Text

Esther 2:15 Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.2:17 And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.

I present to you the hit line of a young maiden that became great from a little humble beginning. Brethren, your beginning no matter how rough is not sufficient to excuse you from exercising restraint towards life. Yours is to live in the will and purpose of God while the execution of the purpose is carried out by God through His vessels

Esther never gave up on life. She remained humble and adherent to the tenets of decent living. She did not gratify herself into rough living even while life was rough. Brothers and sisters, failures has excuses as wall of defence, while successful people are courageous even in the face of adversity.

What are you confronted with at the moment? Always reflect on the memory of simple beginning with high hopes of a colourful future. Dare to be different like Esther was. She never requested for any material benefit save what Hegai gave to her because her focus was on the crown. You are the next in line to be crowned now in Jesus’ Christ name.

The Kingdom Business

Bible Text

Acts  6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

God’s consideration for giving assignment to people is not premised on fluency or look. Availability is the most important consideration. The apostles decided to remain focused by appointing men of good report to non spiritual aspect of the ministry work.

If God has called you to serve in His vineyard, you  can not at the same time be given another assignment that will continue to distract you. Moses made himself available to view the burning bush and from there God opened channel of conversation with him. Forget about the tittle and other ephemerals and go for the mantle.

Kingdom Business requires commitment and unwavering focus. As a shepered, it is very important that one does not get caught in the web of ephemerals. Care giving is very important, but it must not take the place of primary assignment of the shepered. Prayers and ministering the word of God must from time to time remain the primary foundation of the kingdom business. I pray that the Lord will keep you from being found wanting in your place of assignment in Jesus’ name.

The Light of Men Part 2

Bible Text

John  1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Several works of miracles have attested to the power in the name of Jesus. Jesus did not just come for the sake of walking this space, but He was made manifest for the eternal liberation of man. In John 9:7, the man born blind from birth received his sight because of an encounter with the Light of men.

I assure you this day, it is not possible that you will relate with Jesus truthfully and your life will remain the same. Something transformational must be evident. It was when Jesus came into my life that I began to do away with everything negative

His light scraped anger out of my life. I used to be an unrepentant anger dominated boy. His light in my life made the difference.

I can continue to tell you a lot about the Light of men, Jesus Christ but one thing is crucial in all, and that is your readiness to allow Him in your life. Do you desire peace and progress? If yes, then go for the Light of men.

The Light of Men

John  1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Light is so important that whenever it shines people always beam with smiles and joy. Jesus came to the world to destroy the works of darkness. He accomplished the mission on the cross when the veil of the temple was torn into two. From there, Jesus became the access to the Father.

Your eyes will be darkened if you do not have Jesus Christ and you will not be able to see the Father. When you surrender your life to Jesus, you have been blessed with a light that can never experience outtage.

Brethren, let your Light so shine that all may come to your light. Jesus is not for you only, let others experience Jesus and their eyes will not be darkened. I pray for you now, you will continue to shine to the glory of God. Note this, your shinning is not disturbing anyone except those that are in the kingdom of darkness.

A Fearless Heart

Bible Text

Romans 8:15

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage to fear, but ye have received the spirit of  adoption, whereby we cry Abba father.

I use this medium to wish us all a blessing packed month. Here is another opportunity for us to know the mind of God for us. Not until we understand who we are and our given power in Christ, we may continually dwell in bondage of ignorance.

One who is Fearless is one that despite the situation around, believe something great coming his way, he is that person that will stand to speak to mountains, problems, lacks and challenges, he will never give chance to the devil to mock him.
Jesus had never been in tune with someone that is fearfull, he desires a faith driven  heart, just like the woman with the issue of blood and the centurion.
Peter began to sink as soon as he allowed fear, the disciples forgot the fact that Jesus was in the ship with them when the storm deceived them, it was like that for them because fear only bring out the worst in a man.
A Fearless and daring heart is needed in the present state of Nigeria, on the mission field and every where in life. Be strong in the Lord…Eph 6:10.
Find a place for God in your heart, understand your place in Christ and make a decision to do àway with fear and unlimited testimonies will come your ways. Amen
