The Present Help

Bible Text Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

If there is something that amazes me so much about God, it is His love for everyone irrespective of our position for or against Him. God loves us beyond measure and that is why He helps all the time. Also in the Psalms of David 121:1&2,Psalms  121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  121:2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. Help could not have come from anyone except from God, the one that made the heaven and the earth.

If you have been looking up abroad for help, let that stop henceforth and start looking up above, where God dwells. I am of the position that whatsoever man can not do, look up to God to do it for you. Your friend could give you free ride but he or she can not secure you from car crash. God can save you from any form of crash, either physical or spiritual. It is my prayer for you that God will continue to help you in all ramifications.

Do not doubt God when it comes to believing Him for help. He may not show up the way you are expecting him, but he’ll definitely going to come for you in a miraculous way. My God is always present as Help to His children.

Be Drawn to God

Bible Text

1 Samuel 1:2 And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.1:10 And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.

This world will on a daily basis continue to witness mixture of ups and downs. These mixtures is there most times to put lovers of God to test. To confirm if there is corresponding faithfulness from them to God.

Hannah in the bible passage of 1st Samuel 1 was a conspicuous character in the narration of hopes dashed year in year out. She did not turn away from serving God because of her predicament 1st Samuel 1:21 And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow, neither did she stop praying while her countenance was sorrowful. 1st Samuel 1:21 And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.

Do not let issues of life draw you away from God. Your challenges may be a test before testimonies. Let God be at the center of all your life challenges and you will live to testify of God’s goodness.
