Esther 2:15 Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.2:17 And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.
I present to you the hit line of a young maiden that became great from a little humble beginning. Brethren, your beginning no matter how rough is not sufficient to excuse you from exercising restraint towards life. Yours is to live in the will and purpose of God while the execution of the purpose is carried out by God through His vessels
Esther never gave up on life. She remained humble and adherent to the tenets of decent living. She did not gratify herself into rough living even while life was rough. Brothers and sisters, failures has excuses as wall of defence, while successful people are courageous even in the face of adversity.
What are you confronted with at the moment? Always reflect on the memory of simple beginning with high hopes of a colourful future. Dare to be different like Esther was. She never requested for any material benefit save what Hegai gave to her because her focus was on the crown. You are the next in line to be crowned now in Jesus’ Christ name.
